The Banking Trade-offs: Data Export

CIBC's data export tool cut our monthly reconciliation time from four hours to forty-five minutes.

The scheduled exports to our SFTP server eliminated the need for manual downloads every Friday.

How to Configure Data Exports

Configuring a data export from CIBC Digital Business takes about 12 minutes once your user role and destination are approved.

Before you begin, ensure your user profile has the Export permission under the ECIF Launcher. A CIBC CMO can assign this role remotely during onboarding. You also need an approved destination: a secure SFTP folder or an email address within your business domain.

After setting the export parameters, you can save the configuration as a template for repeat use. The template stores date range, format, and destination so you can run the same export with one click.
